Course Introduction

Course registration Starting with studies on basic components of life, structure and function of genes and proteins, role of enzymes in metabolic processes and energy transfer. Students are expected to gain a good knowledge on the development, growth, reproduction and aging of living organisms. A special emphasis will be made on introducing modern concepts of biology as life science.

Course Introduction

선형대수학은 수학, 공학, 경제학, 사회학 등 거의 모든 학문 분야에서 모두 이용되기 때문에 자연계는 물론 인문사회계의 학생에게도 가장 중요한 수학과목의 하나로 여겨집니다. 현재는 실제적인 응용뿐만 아니라 이론적인 연구도 매우 활발한 수학 분야 중의 하나입니다. 선형대수학은 우리 사회의 여러 문제를 수학적으로 모델링하여 얻은 선형연립방정식을 푸는 수학 이론과 방법들을 연구하는 학문으로, 이를 이용하면 얻어진 해를 원래 사회문제에 대한 답으로 번역하여 문제해결에 도움을 줄 수 있습니다. 선형대수학의 연구는 역사적으로 선형적인 컴퓨터를 만드는 데 큰 기여를 했으며, 이 컴퓨터의 발전과 더불어 선형대수학의 연구가 행렬이론을 중심으로 20세기 후반에 가히 폭발적으로 활발해졌습니다. 본 강좌에서는 선형대수학의 주요 개념을 학습하고, 파이썬 기반의 오픈소스 무료 공학도구(SageMath)를 이용하여 임의의 size의 행렬을 직접 다루어봅니다.
